From animal welfare to disability in children, arts and heritage to overseas aid, there are numerous charities working tirelessly to provide vital services to those who need help, whether that’s around the world or just around the corner. But sometimes these modest organisations need a little help themselves.
This site aims to create a pool of information, donated by the fundraising community, to help smaller not-for-profit organisations survive in financially difficult times; whether that’s a worldwide recession or simply the effects of increased competition and greater demands on a potential donor’s wallet.
By collating sector knowledge on cost-effective, or at least cost-efficient, methods of fundraising, from tried-and-tested basics through to new unproven ideas, it is hoped this site will provide advice on how to maintain short-term fundraising plans while future-proofing for tomorrow.
